Key Features of Our Site
The Logan City Council Jimboomba Sewage Treatment Plant is fitted with many features to ensure it aligns with the standards of Kiwa Jimboomba
Individual power supplies with cut out switches and electricity meters.
Influent quality checked that it meets the requirements of the standard
24 hour composite sampling into a refrigerated trailer for temperature control and full security
All mono pumps, flow meters and PLC’s are identical allowing rapid changeover if any faults occur eliminating testing interruption for extended periods
We have installed mechanical water meters on the outlets from each system to check the flow results obtained from the electronic flow meters.
To provide cost effective, competitive rates.
Ability to complete R&D and also Compliance testing at the site under supervised conditions.
The plant is under 24 hour security surveillance to prevent any vandalism.

AS1546.3:2017
The AS1546.3:2017 sets out the standards for the commissioning, performance, compliance and design of secondary treatment systems and advanced secondary treatment systems designed to treat domestic wastewater.
AS/NZS 1546.1:2008
Sets out the standards to install or renovate septic tank units.
AS/NZS 1546.2:2008
Sets the standard for on-site domestic wasteless composting toilets. Additionally ensuring the operation and maintenance of the waterless toilets is done in a safe manner.
AS 1546.4:2016
Establishes the standard for the performance, design, installation, and testing of domestic greywater treatment systems.
SA MP 101:2017
Specifies requirements for those making claims of conformity with domestic wastewater treatment Standards, AS1546.3 and AS1546.4, through the use of product certification schemes and conformity assessment bodies.
AS/NZS 4766
Specifies requirements for the design and manufacture of polyethylene storage tanks that are rationally moulded in one-piece seamless construction, for non-buried, vertical installation, and capable of containing water, liquids for food and beverage manufacture and chemical solutions at atmospheric pressure.
